Elisha Sneddy (she/her) is a proud member of the Navajo Nation and grew up in Nahodishgish, New Mexico. She is Towering House Clan, born for Water Flows Together Clan. Her maternal grandfather is Folded Arms Clan, and her paternal grandfather is Start of the Red Streak People Clan.
Elisha is a 2024 Pathwaves Fellow, an Early Childhood Policy Fellowship, a program designed to cultivate leaders to transform inequitable early childhood systems. She graduated with a Master of Public Health degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, concentrating in Social & Behavioral Sciences. Elisha is dedicated to advancing community-grounded solutions and policies that support and uplift Indigenous birthing families, ensuring their continued resilience and success for generations to come.
Her passion for public health and advocacy is deeply rooted in her love for her family, community, and the future generations to come. Outside of her work, Elisha enjoys watching sports, discovering local coffee shops and running trails, and spending quality time with friends and family. As the oldest of six siblings, she cherishes her role as a big sister and has learned the importance of nurturing strong relationships and being a source of guidance for others.
